Coaches:

Thank you all for what you've done for this program!

The fact that we started a new U9 team and had the turnout that we had for the U11, U13, U15, Girls and Boys High School Teams was awesome and made the 2015 season the most successful year in the history of Stockton Spartans program. You are all making an impact on this community, with so many children participating in lacrosse, the valuable role of the coach cannot be ignored.  The best way to engage and motivate a child with sports is to show them how to enjoy it and to just let them play.  The reason kids play sports in general at youth ages is because they have fun and enjoy it and the reason that they continue to play in their older years is because of the impact the youth coaches had on them.

The positive impact you coaches have on these kids is undeniable. It’s more than wins and losses; it’s about developing a child into a healthy, self-confident adult through the wonderful medium of sports.  Thank you coaches for your time and dedication. Your time commitment is not only appreciated by the athletes, their parents and the Spartans Board of Directors, but by the entire community.

Board President

The Stockton Spartans Youth Lacrosse program is committed to providing the opportunity for San Joaquin Valley Youth grades 4th - HS to learn the fundamentals of lacrosse in a safe environment.  We want this opportunity to be available to all kids regardless of their ability.  Youth sports help to keep children active, physically fit, and to learn important life lessons that are critical to their success such as respect, teamwork, and commitment.

The Stockton Spartans Lacrosse Club is a non-profit corporation whose goal is to provide the children of the San Joaquin Valley (Stockton, Galt, Lodi, Manteca, Ripon, and Tracy, California) the opportunity to learn and play the game of lacrosse. We established our boys teams in 2004 and our girls teams in 2007.

We are a club sponsored program run by volunteer parents and coaches. We have established both girls and boys programs and currently have 6 club teams ranging from 4th grade through High School.

We have approximately 150 players in our program and growing yearly. Our growth has been fueled by the kids desire to play this great game and our success in attracting former college players as coaches.
